For members of a certain generation, Hocus Pocus is among the most iconic Halloween-themed films ever made. These fans will definitely want to join their coven as the three Sanderson Sisters—played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimi—get together tonight for a live-streaming charity reunion show.
The hour-long event, titled In Search of The Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover, isn’t a film screening, but it will bring together Midler, Parker, and Najimi in their original roles. Viewers can expect a documentary-style show about the Sanderson Sisters with appearances from other original cast members, including Thora Birch, Omri Katz, and Doug Jones. Special guests like Jamie Lee Curtis, Glenn Close, Billy Crystal, Meryl Streep, and George Lopez are also scheduled to join.
Tickets are $10 (well, $13, since there’s a $3 transaction fee) and available for purchase online. Proceeds go to the New York Restoration Project, Midler’s charity supporting park development.
Once you register, you’ll receive a link to join the screening. Since the event is live and won’t be recorded for future showings, make sure you hop on at the scheduled time. The spooky festivities start at 8 p.m. ET.
If you want to celebrate Halloween by watching the actual film, it’s currently streaming on Disney+ and available for rent on Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, and YouTube. It’s also scheduled to run two more times on Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween. Disney announced plans last year for a Hocus Pocus sequel, which reportedly will include much of the original cast.
